Alden E. Vickstrom

Alden, a former Lincoln City Resident died Thursday morning in his home is Salem. He was born to Albin and Jennie Vickstrom in Anamoose, ND. He was the former owner of the Siletz Moorage 1961-1976. He moved to Salem and spent the remainder of his days there. He is survived by 4 children Linda Mitchell-Gleneden Beach, Miles Vickstrom-Lincoln City, Kathleen Stephens-Salem and Susan Kato-Happy Valley, 1 brother Merrill Dean Vickstrom-Lincoln City, 1 sister Norma Dennis-Oakridge, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Alden was a member of the 82nd Airborne and served his country during World War II in Europe. He was a lifetime member of the Oceanlake Elks. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 11AM at Restlawn Funeral Home in Salem.
