Alisa passed away on October 25, 2024 in Salem Hospital. She succumbed to a long-term illness that she faced and fought bravely.
Alisa will be missed by all who knew her. Her sense of humor was constant and quirky. Her outlook on life was buoyant and ever optimistic. When times were difficult she could be counted on for a heart-felt "this will pass" and a smile of encouragement.
At times, people didn't take Alisa seriously. She had such a bouncy personality and seemed to approach life casually. However, Alisa put her heart into her endeavors. She was a devote Christian and lived her beliefs. She was active in the real estate industry and started her own real estate appraisal company. She respected her clients and cared about her employees, putting her best efforts forward to the benefit of both.
Family was paramount to Alisa. Any time spent with her family and friends was time she cherished. She always spent her energy to make family time quality time. She was especially fond of visiting with her two grandsons.
There is no better candidate for heaven than Alisa. With her abounding faith, Alisa anticipated spending eternity with her family and friends in heaven.
Alisa is survived by her husband of 36 years, Fred Faber, and her father-in-law, Bernie Faber. Alisa had two sons, Tim Faber and Jay Faber; and was survived by them as well as Jay's wife, Lexi Faber. Alisa is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Shelley and Don Housley, and their extended family.
Please join Alisa's family in celebrating her life at a funeral service to be held on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Restlawn Funeral Home, 201 N Oak Grove Rd, Salem, Oregon. She will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memory Gardens immediately following.
