Anita Harris Butler
May 28, 1926 - September 2, 2013
Keizer - Anita passed away peacefully into the arms of her savior after a brief illness. She was born in Portland, raised on a farm in Colton, graduated from Seaside High School. After retirement from the Oregon Highway Department, she moved to Newport where she enjoyed fishing with her husband, on their boat the "DaNita" After the death of her husband Anita moved to Keizer and lived with her daughter Jarma.
Anita was the oldest of three children born to the late Elbert and Eula Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale, brother, Kent Harris, and step-daughter Linda Williams. She is survived by brother Gary (Helen) Harris of Springfield, daughter Renee Brunberg of California, son Doug (Sue) Wheaton of Florida, step-daughters Jarma Wilber of Keizer and Donna (Ken) Baker of Salem, 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Anita loved to sew, she was a master seamstress. She was a member of Fruitland Community Church in Salem, where her son in law is Pastor. Anita loved and was loved by her family.
