Anna Mae Held

Anna Mae lived in Salem many years and considered it her home. She was a Registered Nurse at Salem Memorial Hospital for 26 years. She loved caring for people and it showed in her excellence in nursing. Her caring extended to everyone she met thus creating a wonderful circle of friends. She raised eight children in which she took great pride. A loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be greatly missed. Anna Mae is preceded in death by sons, Douglas Held, Raymond Held Jr., and Jackie Held; and siblings, James and Howard Stevenson, Mary Swingen. Anna Mae is survived by children, Bob and Mary Held, Loretta Hardison, Greg and Tina Held, Kathy and Troy Jones, Connie and Ron Hutchison; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly; brother, Uel and Erdyne Stevenson; sisters, Jane Moum, Elizabeth Gunderson; and many nieces and nephews as well as many friends. Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m., August 6, 2010 at Restlawn Funeral Home, 201 Oak Grove Rd. NW, Salem.
