Beverly Joan Roth
July 24, 1940 - November 5, 2013
Beverly Joan Roth was born July 24, 1940 in Salem, Oregon to William and Martha Roth, the youngest of four children. She graduated from North Salem High School in 1958.
Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family, and was an avid bargain shopper and coupon clipper. She took great pride in finding us things that she knew we needed and would appreciate. She also enjoyed gardening and baking and was famous for her Texas cake, which she once entered in the State Fair.
Aunt Bev had a very big heart, and was always thinking of everyone else before herself. We will all miss the birthday cards she sent at our birthdays, with the two crisp one dollar bills inside. She was a caregiver to all who knew her.
She loved the family pets and cared for all of them as if they were her own. She deeply missed her dog Nikki and spoke of him often. It does our hearts good to know that Aunt Bev and Nikki are together again.
Beverly was preceded in death by her brother Rueben Roth and her parents William and Martha Roth. She is survived by her brother Bill (Linda) Roth, sister Shirley (John) Rieger, sister-in-law Irene (Rueben) Roth, and many nieces and nephews.
Aunt Bev was loved by all who knew her, and will be deeply missed.
Beverly's life will be celebrated on Monday, November 11, 2 pm at Restlawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Union Gospel Mission in Beverly's name. Please share your memories and condolences at RestlawnFH.com.
