Bonnie Louise Hollenbeak was born Bonnie Louise Hale on the 10th of November 1926 in Fullerton, California. She married Jerry Waldo Rhoads in June of 1950. She married Ronald Duane Hollenbeak in 1970. Both Jerry and Ronald have passed away. Bonnie is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Bonnie is survived by four children. Donald L. Rhoads, Michael A. Rhoads, Deborah L. Tompkins and Rebecca S. Culp. Michael has two sons, Deborah has one daughter and one son, Rebecca has one daughter and one son. Bonnie is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bonnie enjoyed many hobbies. Painting, ceramics and needle point. Over the years, she also was involved with several Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) companies. She attended Fullerton High School and had two years of college. She worked as a bookkeeper. Bonnie was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
Bonnie was a loving wife and mother. Firmly grounded in the Christian faith. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and she taught Sunday school for many years. She and her late husband Ron were long time members of Grace Baptist Church in Salem, OR.
The Rhoads family lived in Klamath Falls for many years. The children grew up and moved to various parts of the country, but they always stayed in touch.
Friends and family will celebrate Bonnie’s life with a memorial service at 1:00 P.M on Monday March 26, 2018 at Grace Baptist Church, Salem, OR. Interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR.
