Carol Kihalani Cortner

Once Carol (Kiki) met you, you were family. And all her family will now miss its vibrant center. Every moment was a party, whether at home, at the store, in the hospital, receiving cancer treatment. Or even at a party!
This woman of many gifts was a daughter of Hawaii who took root in California then Oregon. Her greatest gift was bringing people together.
She leaves behind children: Alexis Adams; AM1E6 Kurt Benzon, U.S. Navy; Zachary Moss; Troy Gardner; and Shavon Gardner; hanai children: Dean Waiwaiole; Liam Coggins; and Matthew Serry; siblings: Myra Kaaiai, Richard Oliver, John Oliver and Ruth Oliver. Her many grandchildren will always remember their tutu, and so will numerous other family members and friends.
Services will be on Saturday, July 9 at 1:30 at Restlawn, 201 Oak Grove Rd NW. The Celebration of Kiki's Life will continue at Dallas City Park following the service.
