Carol Schieno

Carol was born in Crookston, MN on August 18, 1933 to Harold and Myrtle Heldstab.  The family moved frequently and in 1950 moved to Billings, MT.  It was in Billings that Carol met and eventually married Angelo Schieno, and their first son Bruce was born.  They moved to The Dalles and Angelo worked on The Dalles Dam.  While they lived in The Dalles, their second son Michael was born.  After Angelos work on The Dalles Dam was finished, they moved to Salem and their daughter Lauren was born.  Carol was preceded in death by her husband Angelo and son Michael.  She is survived by her daughter Lauren and her husband Martin, son Bruce, brother Don Heldstab and his wife Jean, nephew Daren, granddaughter Jennifer, and granddaughter Allison and her husband David and great granddaughter Murphy.  The family would like to thank the staff at Windsong at Eola Hills for their care and compassion. There will be a service on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm. at Restlawn Cemetery, 201 Oakgrove Rd. NW, Salem.  Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association
