SALEM - Dessie Mattson was born in Payette, Idaho, the daughter of C.F. and Almeda Shepard Andrus. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and one sister. Survivors include husband, David 'Lucky' Mattson, whom she married on May 22, 1945; son, Richard Dean Mattson; daughter, Laura Sue Erdrich; grandchildren, Jordan, Kevin, Jennifer, Janine, and Christine; and 14 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 22nd at Restlawn Funeral Home, Salem.
