Boris was an incredible dog – smart, loyal, loving, playful and yet melancholy, calm and yet with a feisty attitude. We got him when he was 4 months old and named him after a Russian poet – Boris Slutsky – and he indeed had a thoughtful poetic soul. He had an eventful life – the births of our two kids – and traveled a lot – to the snowy Minnesota and the sunny San Diego and San Francisco.
He’s always been there for us and we’ve always been there for him. Boris’s life wasn’t easy – he was paralyzed multiple times and had other medical problems, but each time he persevered and pulled through, until he couldn’t any more. The doctors who treated him said that he was one in a million and left a deep and lasting impression on them. We’re comforted that he found his resting place at Restlawn – a beautiful peaceful place. He was almost fourteen. We miss him terribly. May his memory be a blessing.
Thank you,
