Edith Elnore Keszler age 87 went to be with her lord and to be re-united with the love of her life on August 22, 2018. She was born February 8, 1931 in Rupert, West Virginia to Elmer and Etta (Moses) Zopp. Edith grew up in West Virginia before moving to California where she spent 46 years before retiring and moving to Roseburg in 1987, in 2000 she moved to Monmouth. She was an avid bowler and member of the Indian Lanes Match Club and the Women of the Moose Chapter #361 of Roseburg, Elks #1950 of Independence and Friends of the Monmouth Senior Center, Monmouth OR. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, doing crafts, playing pinochle and her volunteer work.
She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Gray and her son Steven Keszler both of Independence OR, Grandson’s Jerry Dutton, Jesse Gray, Brandon Keszler and Nathan Suko, the three great-grandchildren whom she adored, Hunter, Gavin and Jackson and many nieces and nephews coast to coast who she frequently talked of. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September 1st @ 2:00PM at Restlawn Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, Salem OR. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Partnerships in Community Living, or the charity of your choice.
