OKANAGON, Wash. - Eileen Margaret Deggeller, 77, formerly of Salem, Oregon, passed away Monday, Nov. 8, 2010. She was born Oct. 15, 1933, to Margaret and Chester Anderson in Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to Salem, Oregon, at the age of 5. She graduated from Salem High School in 1951. On Feb. 9, 1952, she was united in marriage to William "Bill" Joseph Deggeller, who passed away on March 24, 2002, soon after celebrating 50 years of marriage. Eileen enjoyed her work for the Salem School District as an instructional assistant with special needs children and as an AMSOIL distributor. She is survived by children, Martin Deggeller of Conconully, WA, Susan (and Jim) Boling of Carlisle, PA, and Pamela (and Mark) Evans of Union, WA; and six grandchildren, Jason (and Laura) Evans and Ryan (and Chelsea) Evans of Salem, Emily (and Steve) Grey of Largo, FL, Sarah Boling (and Matt Affleck) of Carlisle, PA, Wade Deggeller of Salem, and Travis Deggeller of Conconully, WA. Her first great-grandchild, James Kentland Affleck, was born this year and she looked forward to the births of two more great-grandchildren in November and December. Funeral Mass: 1 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2010, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1010 Columbia N.E., Salem. Burial committal at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Restlawn.
