SALEM - Eleanor Janette Fugate passed away at the age of 85. She was born in Macleay. She was active as a soprano in church choirs and as a soloist. She enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, cooking, and family get-togethers. Eleanor was preceeded in death by her parents, Allen and Emma Hersch Hall. She is survived by husband, Earl Fugate; sons, Daniel Melsha and David Melsha; daughter, Carol Bowen; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sisters, Loene Wilson and Doris Brickeen. Arrangements are by Restlawn Funeral Home.
