Ellen Hill

Ellen Susanne Whitney Hill, cherished wife, mother, sister and aunt, joined her husband, Dale, in heaven on September 6, 2018, just over a week after what would have been their 50th wedding anniversary and just in time for his birthday on September 9th.Ellen was born December 3, 1948 to Charles Edward and Mary Gerlean Whitney and raised in Twin Bridges, Montana with her four siblings. She graduated from Twin Bridges High School in 1967 and married Dale in 1968. She went back to school to get her Bachelor's degree from Western Oregon State College, graduating in 1989. Long-time residents of Independence, Oregon, they raised their four children there and after Dale passed away in 2000, she went to work for Partnership in Community Living so she could continue sharing her beautiful, sweet spirit with others. She leaves their four children and six grandchildren behind.
