Elsie Mae Beutler

December 1, 1924 — July 17, 2013

SALEM - Elsie Mae Beutler was born to John and Zina Roth December 1, 1924 in Pratum, Oregon. She graduated from Salem High School. She married Henry J. Beutler in 1943 and lived in the Pratum area all of her life. She was a lifelong member of Emmanuel Bible Church. She was actively involved with the Union Gospel Mission. She enjoyed gardening, and considered serving on the flower committee at church a service to the Lord.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, brothers John and David and sister Carman Roth Krick. She is survived by her seven children, Neil (Kathy), Ralph (Marian), Paul (Patti), Henry (Carolyn), Ruth Nelson (Mark), Mark (Janet), and Beth Lang (Michael); seventeen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sister Judy Linker, sisters-in-law Ivy Roth and Beverly Bear Roth.

A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Bible Church, Monday July 22 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Union Gospel Mission, Salem, or Debbie Eisenhut, care of Emmanuel Bible Church. Arrangements by Restlawn Funeral Home.
