Gary Allen Redman

Gary Allen Redman went to be with his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, December 5, 2012.

Gary was born in Arizona and was the son of Jesse and Cornelia Redman. He was a combat U.S. Army Infantry Soldier in Vietnam and was awarded the Combat Infantry badge, the Vietnam Service Ribbon, The Distinguished Service Medal and the Purple Heart.

He was a certified Welder, a graduate of B.C.T.I. in computer programming and graduated from the Oregon Bureau of Police Standards and Training for his jobs in Public Education Security.

Health issues put him into disabled status for the latter part of his life. He is survived by sisters, Thelma Schavland and Maxine Crabb, brothers Wayne and Charles Redman, nephew David Schavland of Salem and eight other nieces and nephews.

At his request no services will be held. A Memorial gathering of family and friends is being planned. Arrangement by Restlawn Funeral Home of Salem, Oregon.
