Geraldine Lee Turner (Cox) passed away peacefully on March 20 at home surrounded by family.
She was a beloved wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother with a fiery spirit as bold and everlasting as her stunning red hair.
Geraldine was born March 14, 1935, to the late Bill and Rita Cox in Medford, Oregon, where she grew up.
After graduating from high school, she attended business school and met the love of her life, David W. Turner, while they were both managing businesses in Medford. They married on Nov. 20, 1964 and spent the next 59 years loving one another like newlyweds. She was an exquisite homemaker who particularly enjoyed cake decorating, gardening, reading, and spending time with family.
Geraldine was adored by everyone she encountered and friendly to a fault.
She is survived by her husband, her children (Sherry, William, David and Mark), 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens & Funeral Home on April 12. Private viewing is from 10 a.m. to noon and services follow immediately after at noon. A reception will follow at 2:30 p.m. at The Springs at Lancaster Village.
