Gordon Patterson

July 15, 1946 — June 25, 2021

Gordon L Patterson – was born July 15, 1946 and passed away at Salem Hospital Friday evening, June 25, 2021 with his wife and sons present. Gordon was Born in Salem, Oregon where he lived his entire life except for his college years.
He is survived by his wife Linda and sons Tye (Meri) Patterson, Brent (Gina) Patterson and step-sons Jim (Risa) Cowley and Joel (Cindy) Cowley, daughter-in-law Gwen Cowley. Gordon was predeceased by step-son Dan Cowley in 2016. Gordon has 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brother Stanley (Kathy) Patterson and is predeceased by brothers Warren and Rodney.
Gordon and Linda had just celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on June 4, 2021.
Gordon graduated from Northwest Nazarene College now Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. He remained an active member of Salem First Church of the Nazarene and his Sunday School Class as well as the Senior Ministries.
Gordon had many interests. His top priority was God, his church and his family. He was very proud of his heritage, the Abram F. Friesen family. He loved hunting, fishing, boating and all of the holidays with his family and friends.
Gordon served as an insurance agent his entire working career.
Funeral Services are being held at Salem First Church of the Nazarene on Market Street in Salem, Oregon on June 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to join us as we honor our Husband, Father and Papa.
