SALEM - Henry lived in Salem, but grew up in Artesia, Calif. on a dairy farm. He was a painter for about 15 years from 1957 to 1972. Henry and his wife, Cora started a small dairy in Dallas and moved to West Salem in 1977 on a new dairy and retired from there in July 2005. They continued to live in West Salem after retirement.He was a member of Sunnyslope Christian Reformed Church in Salem for 37 years. He is survived by his wife, Cora whom he married in July 1961; son, Duane Lautenbach; daughter, Corene Charnetzki; son-in-law, Jon; 3 granddaughters; 1 great-granddaughter; and sister, Henderika Offringa. Viewing will be 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27 at Restlawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28 at Sunnyslope Christian Reformed Church in Salem. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
