Keizer- Howard R. Schlag, 81 years young, was born in Salem, Oregon on May 24, 1930. He went to meet his Lord on June 16, 2011.
He owned H&H Paint store, which was the first paint store in Keizer. He was a generous person and willing to help anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Howard is survived by his wife of 41 years, Helen; three sons, Steve, Jim and Del, all of Salem; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and sister, Flora Whitlock, all of Salem. Private mausoleum entombment will be held at Restlawn Memory Gardens & Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Restlawn Funeral Home.
