Inez Lavonne Myregard Hanson passed away at the age of 72 in Salem, Oregon on January 7, 2011. Inez was born in Blaisdell, North Dakota on September 5, 1938 to Iver and Evelyn Myregard. She was the oldest of four children (Inez, Shirley, Judy and Craig). Inez met Glen Hanson casually in 1959 and they began dating in 1960. They married on July 6, 1961 and a year after that they had their first of four sons, Westly. Almost three years after Wes was born they had their second son, Larry, six years later Glendel arrived and two years after that they had their last son, Marlin. In 1973 the family moved from South Dakota to Oregon, living in the Silverton and Salem areas. Upon her retirement from Kraft Foods in 2000, Inez enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren and was very active in weekly seniors gathering called Primetimers. Inez is survived by her husband, Glen; son Westly and wife Cathy, (children Katie & Kristyn), son Larry and wife Carolyn (children Jeffery and Jocelyn), son Glendel and wife Michel (children Caleb, Joseph, Shantel, Dakota and Kaylee), and son Marlin and wife Melissa (children Taylen, Makenna and Jorgan); as well as her sister Shirley and husband Ray (children Ramona and Eugene); sister Judy and husband Norman (children Randy, Jim, Delton and Brent); and brother Craig Myregard. Inez will be greatly missed by everyone. She passed at 3:16 AM which reminded the family of the Bible verse John 3:16, God's promise that they will see Inez again in heaven. "For GOD so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
