Janet Marie McCue Keppinger passed away November 6th in her home with her daughter by her side. She was born March 20, 1938 in Red Oak Iowa to Donald & Mary Elizabeth McCue.
After a brief residence there, the family moved to Keizer OR where she grew up & went to school.
She married and had 3 children, Dennis Williamson, Rebecca (Williamson) Gamber and Donald Williamson. She retired from Pipe Inc. as their Office Manager.
Shortly before retiring, she re-connected with her childhood classmate Gerald Keppinger and they were married in August 1993.
After marrying him, she was the happiest we'd ever seen her, he was the love of her life.
She loved reading, listening to music and had a great love of plays, which her son Donald was cast in many of those she saw. She also had a love for cooking & baking, especially cheesecakes, always trying out new recipes. After retiring her and her husband's passion was planting their yard full of different & unique flowers, and a spotlight of the yard was an old Model T car body that had a tree & wisteria growing up through it (which you see her standing beside in this picture), which led her to win a prize in a contest in a magazine.
The other great love of her life was her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren were very dear to her heart and she loved watching them.
She was preceded in death by her father Donald McCue, mother Mary Elizabeth (McCue) Olds, sister Dona (McCue) Bridges, and brother Tom McCue.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Keppinger of Salem OR, Son Dennis Williamson (spouse Lisa) of Laughlin NV , Daughter Rebecca Gamber (spouse Lee) of Medford OR, Son Donald Williamson (spouse Nicole) of Boise ID, Step Daughter Kris Keppinger (Russ) of Turner OR, Step-Daughter Kippie (Keppinger) Miller (spouse Mitch) of Independence OR, Grandchildren Hannah Williamson, Kyla Kirk, Zachary Kirk, Gabi Williamson, Aidan Williamson, Addy Williamson, Allan Miller & Will Miller, great-grandchildren Olivia & Lucas Bernier, sister Betty (McCue) Hatfield, sister Patty McCue.
