Larry Dale Benedict, 71, passed away on Wednesday, March 22 at home with his family by his side.
Larry was born February 27, 1952 to Virgil and Barbara Benedict in Vallejo California.
Larry was a Seventh Day Adventist who loved Jesus.
Larry and his wife Diane were married for 52 years, married on March 19, 1971. They had three children that he loved more than anything in this world. Nothing was more important to him than his wife and children.
Larry was a Respiratory Therapist for 30 years. He worked for the Salem Hospital from 1999 to 2004, a team and job that he loved deeply. He was given the nickname Yoda for his abundance of wisdom he brought to the entire hospital.
Larry has 10 grandchildren, and each of them brought him so much joy and meant the world to him.
Larry will be especially remembered for his infectious smile, his sandwich making skills, his unbelievable positivity in the most difficult times, and his love for Fox News.
Larry is survived by the love of his life, Diane Benedict, his daughter Rachael, son Larry, daughter Kathleen, his dog princess who was his pride and joy, and his 10 grandchildren.
Until we meet again, we love you to the moon and back.
