Laurene M. Gardner

Laurene was born April 30, 1921 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Alvin and Nora Brown. She married Eugene D. Gardner on June 15, 1941 in Vancouver, WA. They raised their family in the Newberg, OR area and later in Keizer, OR. She worked parttime in retail sales but her main focus was her family. She was preceded in death by husband Eugene in 1988. Survivors include son Dennis Gardner of McMinnville, OR, son Kerry Gardner of Maple Valley, WA, daughter Nancy Janac of Salem, OR, daughter Patty Kerr of Lincoln City, OR, 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
