LaVerda Mae Harder
March 22, 1927 - March 5, 2013
Salem - LaVerda Mae Harder entered into the presence of the Lord on March 5, 2013. Verdie was born March 22, 1927 in Jansen, Nebraska to Pete and Sarah Rempel. She moved with her parents to Oregon in 1942. Verdie enjoyed playing saxophone in the band and marching in parades. In 1947, she married Clarence "Dutch" Harder, who preceded her in death in 1989.
