Linda L. Bernaix

October 8, 1950 — October 16, 2020

Linda Bernaix, age 70, joined our heavenly father on October 16, 2020. She was born in Eugene Oregon
on October 8th , 1950 to Mitchell and Marjorie Fuller. She had two brothers Rex and Gary.

Linda was always full of love, light, and laughter. Anyone who met Linda could not help but feel pure joy in her presence. She was the life of the party and loved to dance and sing songs, from hymns to rock and roll. Linda was devoted to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a Catholic woman with a little bit of a wild side and never said no to a party or social gathering. She enjoyed her rum and cokes (every now and then) and ogling, as she would say, “hot men”! She loved to be around people, especially babies and the holidays. Her favorite holiday was Halloween and Christmas. Linda Graduated from Linn Benton Community College with her diploma in 1985. Although it took her time to get there, she was full of tenacity and never gave up on any dream or goal she set her mind to.
Linda spent many years in the service of others, volunteering with various organizations. One of her earliest adventures began at a care facility that she herself was admitted to. She received an Award of Honor recognizing her commitment in helping others whether it was companionship, preparing meals, folding laundry, or cleaning duties. No job was too big! She loved helping others.

In May of 1999, Linda was recognized with a “Spirit of Service” award for her outstanding commitment to Catholic Community Services values of “Love, Justice, Truth and Freedom for all”.

In April of 2000, Linda was awarded with a Certificate of appreciation for “Volunteers who give from the heart”, for her continued service and support of others. In April of 2001, Linda was reconfirmed to the Roman Catholic Church and re-devoted her life to the
Lord.
Linda had many challenges in her long life due to various health issues and disabilities, yet she took on those challenges that this life gave her and brought joy to those that knew her. She leaves behind her beloved pet Opal and many, many people who love her.
