Linda L. Waldner

January 4, 1947 — September 9, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Linda Waldner, who passed away on September 9, 2024 after suffering a stroke. She was surrounded by her family.
Linda was born in Beatrice, Nebraska to Frank and Dixie Larimore. She spent her early years in Beatrice until the family moved to Keizer in 1961, where she finished her high school years at North Salem High School. Linda met her husband Bruce when she was just 12 years old while visiting family in Oregon. When the family moved to Keizer, Bruce and Linda quickly became inseparable. They were married in June 1964. Together they raised five beautiful children, owned and operated a successful cabinet business, served as Girl Scout troop leaders, and were members of the Keizer Lion's Club.
Linda loved her family near and far and opened her home over the years to family members requiring additional love and support. There wasn't an animal she didn't love, and she often struggled recognizing she couldn't rescue them all. She also loved the great outdoors - from ocean beaches to the breathtaking mountains.
Linda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bruce, daughters: Tammy Watson (Dave), Karen Coleman (James), and Mandy Collingham (Dan); sons: Doug Waldner (Laura) and Rodney Waldner (Molly); sister Sandy Vandegrift (Terry); brother John Larimore (Cheryl); 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Joann Elliott (Jerry); brothers-in-law Vern Waldner, Larry Waldner (Angie), Gene Waldner, and Richard Waldner, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dozens of close friends.
Linda was loved by so many and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. There will be a celebration of life announced at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to one of her favorite organizations - St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
