Marian Ruth Tucker age 92, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2011.
She was born in South Bend, Indiana and grew up in San Bernadino, California. She followed her family to Oregon in 1947. She was employed by the State of Oregon, Employment Division for 35 years retiring in 1980. She attended Westgate Assembly of God and later on the Fellowship Church on Market Street.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynna Focht and her husband, Keviin of Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania and her son, Bradford O. Tucker and his wife, Teresa of Salem; three grandsons Aaron Schell, West Point, Virginia, Brian Schell, Portland, OR, Chris Schell, Canby, OR and 9 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday June 24, 2011 at Restlawn Memory Gardens, Salem-Dallas Hwy. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Contributions can be made to Oregon Hospice Association, PO Box 10796, Salem, OR 97296-0796.
