Mary Ann Perlich 12/10/1936 – 1/15/2023
Mary Ann passed away peacefully with family by her side on January 15th. She was born in North Platte, Nebraska to James & Mattie V Pease on December 10th, 1936. She married Robert Weakly and had two children, Deborah & Robert. Mary Ann moved to Oregon with her two children. She met and Married Robert Perlich on 7/5/1957. Together they had three sons, Ralph, Larry & Quintin.
Mary Ann stayed home and raised her family eventually working as a CNA for a nursing facility and then for Salem Hospital in the Sterile Distribution department. After retirement, her and Bob enjoyed gardening and fishing. Mary Ann was an outstanding seamstress and quilter making many items for friends and family members. She was a member of the South Salem Nazarene Church where they attended for many years.
Mary Ann is survived by her sons Ralph (Karen) Perlich, Larry (Linda) Perlich and Robert Perlich as well as 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert in 2016, daughter Deborah Lawrence, Son Quintin Perlich, Granddaughter Sarah Perlich and grandson Bryan Perlich.
Services will be held at South Salem Church of the Nazarene located at 1661 Boone Rd SE in Salem on January 24th at 1 pm. Reception immediately following. The family would like to extend their thanks to her caregivers at The Cascades of Stayton and the wonderful people at Serenity Hospice. Donations may be made to the church in her memory.
