Mary Lou Sledge

Mary Lou Sledge, 93 died March 20, 2021 in Keizer, OR. She was born January 26, 1928 in Ravenwood, Missouri to Andrew & Dortha Nettie May Adwell (O’Bannon). Mary Lou was a remarkable woman, she married Kenneth Sledge at the young age of 18, they were happily married 54 years until his death in 2001. She was a long time member of Willamette Valley Baptist Church and inspired and encouraged everyone she met. Mary Lou is survived by her son Wayne Sledge of Dayton, OR; daughters Donna Wolfe of Keizer, OR and Brenda Milhem of Salem, OR; brother LeRoy Adwell; sister Shirley Coffelt; 3 grand daughters; 3 grand sons; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She loved dearly, was dearly loved and will be dearly missed. Her legacy of faith in God’s great love & power lives on. A memorial service will be held on Friday; March 26, at 11am in Willamette Valley Baptist Church with an interment service at Restlawn Memory Gardens at 2pm. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Willamette Valley Baptist Church in her memory.
