Michael (Mike) Leroy Crowell

Michael (Mike) Leroy Crowell passed away on December 19, 2014. He was born on January 23, 1947 in Sweet Home to Leroy and Esther Crowell, the eldest of 3 children. After serving in the Army during the Vietnam War he worked in corrections, gold mining, and photography. He enjoyed photography, riding his motorcycle, and playing poker in his retirement. Mike is preceded in death by his parents. Mike is survived by his wife of 45 years, Una Crowell, children Corine Helton and Tara VanNorman, 5 grandchildren, and his sisters Patricia Friesen and Barbara Lucanio. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 2:00pm at 2310 Lancaster Dr. SE. Salem, Oregon. Private Interment will be held at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR. Arrangements are by Restlawn Funeral Home.
