Peter Alan Roth was born on June 13, 1958 in New Rochelle, New York to parents Richard and Fay (Whitehead) Roth. Peter was raised in the New York area with his brother Andy, until he moved to the San Fransico Bay Area in California at about 15 years old. He attended and graduated from Del Valle High School in Contra Costa County, CA. He then worked in the auto industry and operated his own tow truck for a while. In the bay area he married and had 2 children, Michael and Jennifer, prior to moving to Jefferson OR in 1989. He attended Lane Community College and graduated in Diesel Mechanics. In 1998 he married his current wife, Patty. He then gained an additional family including 3 daughters, Jessica, Kary and April. He has 2 siblings, James and Fran who live in Florida. At the time of his passing, Peter lived on a small hobby farm in Rickreall. He will be missed by grandchildren: Logan, Colton, Lynn, Natacia, Robyn, Nathan, Curtis, LeeAnn, Alex, Aron, Lily, Kenneth, and Elizabeth and great-grandchildren Carmen, Daniel, Sebastian, Connor, Archer and Jasper.
Peter really enjoyed collecting, repairing and restoring cars. His passion was for early generation Camaros, probably having owned and restored more that 40 during his life. He loved attending auto swap meets and finding all the missing pieces to allow him to rebuild many fine muscle cars. He also loved to travel and appreciated all the adventures and foods of different places. He enjoyed humor and was an avid professional wrestling fan and owned and raised many beautiful German Shepherd dogs.
In recent years Peter struggled with multiple health conditions related to diabetes and had recovered from many challenging illnesses before at age 59 developing an infection that his body was not able to beat. He will be missed by many people and his dogs and will be thought of often.
