Phyllis May Worley was born on January 3, 1926 in Mulvane, Kansas and passed from this life on February 21, 2010 in her home in Salem. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Nellie Vice; two brothers, Ed and J.R. Vice; two sisters, Pauline Vice and Lucille Beebe; husband, Charles Worley and daughter Pauline Coeur. She is survived by her son, Arthur Worley of Salem; granddaughters, Charlene Franklund of Corvallis and Jacque Bryant of Salem; grandsons, Tyler and Nathaniel Franklund, Michael Bryant and granddaughter, Kelsey Bryant; three brothers, Al Vice of Talent, Claude Vice of Tulare, Calif., and Jim Vice of Lebanon; two sisters, Mildred Buettner and Fern Sordi of Lebanon, and numerous other relatives and friends. Phyllis moved to Salem with her family in 1935 and lived here for 75 years until her death. She worked with the terminally ill through Friends Of Hope and was a member of the Church of Christ for over 60 years.
