Roger "Pete" W. Anderson September 5, 1937 - July 13, 2010 SALEM - Roger W. Anderson of Salem passed away Tuesday from multiple myeloma. Roger was born in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota and moved to Salem in 1969. He worked as a salesman for Nalley, Shasta, and McCormick Schilling before retiring in 2000. Roger enjoyed bowling, golfing, traveling, and gardening in his yard. Roger is survived by his two children, daughter Angie Doty, (Herman), of Rockaway Beach, son Erik Anderson, (Rhonda) of Indian Mound, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Brittani Anderson, and Derek Anderson, (Lydya); and one great-granddaughter, Lyric Anderson; two brothers, Allen Anderson of New Hope, Minnesota, and Dean Anderson of Primera, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and one brother. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 23, at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Salem. Contributions may be made to Willamette Valley Hospice.
