Rollyn "Mike" Turner, 76, of Albany, Oregon died peacefully at home on November 5, 2014.
Mike was born in Highland, Kansas at his Grandmother Ella Geer's home on August 27, 1938 to Rollyn O. and Georgia R. Turner. His Aunt Virginia Raines assisted with the delivery. When she saw the baby, she gave him his nickname, "Mike," which remained with him though out his life.

The high school sweethearts married on October 17, 1959. They had two children, Burney LeRoy and Lisa Marie. The young family moved from North Portland to Damascus where they resided for 30 years. During that time Mike worked as a diesel mechanic for Tri Met until he retired. Shortly thereafter they moved to their farm in North Albany.
Mike enjoyed all types of music, gardening, fishing, cooking, camping and spending quality time with his family and friends.
