Ruth Spurlock

Ruth Spurlock (98), passed in Salem, Oregon on May 10, 2018. Ruth had a passion for roses, and a disdain for weeds; which she let any person with an infested garden know. She loved to craft, crochet, bingo, doing crossword puzzles, and cats. Ruth raised many Siamese cats, and owned many more. A devote traveler, Ruth fulfilled her dream of seeing Lake Louise in Canada, amongst many other spectacular locations. Ruth is survived by her three children, Bonita (Burton) Pope of Dallas, OR; Alan (Chris) Spurlock of Everett, WA; and Wayne Spurlock of Salem, OR. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Spurlock, with whom she spent 65 years with.
