Sharon Carol Eckes

Sharon Carol Eckes, the daughter of Lawrence and Carol Hercher. Born in Roseburg, Oregon on June 13, 1932. Sharon was raised in Dillard Oregon on the Hercher Farm and married Lloyd Roberts Jr. June 16, 1950. While living in Roseburg, Oregon Sharon and Lloyd brought three children into the world. Glenda R. Henrickson, Eileen F Roberts and Martin L Roberts.
Eventually the family moved to Salem Oregon where Sharon took a job in retail. In 1976, Once the kids were grown and on their own, she was remarried to Richard Ellsworth and moved to Tucson Arizona. May 1980 Richard was taken by Cancer.
Sharon made her way to NY City where she met Dean Eckes. They were married on May 29,1985. She loved NY and all that it had to offer, but missed her family and moved back to Dallas Oregon and bought a home in 1992.
When she wasn’t surrounding herself with family, she occupied herself with gardening, arts and crafts, with an emphasis on needle work. She enjoyed making blankets for babies and lap blankets for the elderly. She was very charitable, always wanted to help others. Even when it was difficult.
Sharon is survived by 3 Children, 6 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
