WILLAMINA - Stephan was born August 11, 1969 in Dragalina, Romania. He passed away Monday, April 30, 2007 on Highway 18. Stephan worked at Willamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville for 7 years and came to Lincoln City, where he worked as an RN at Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital for about two years. Stephan attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church in East Salem. He enjoyed cars and camping. Stephan enjoyed running and he ran the Boston Marathon. He enjoyed taking his boys camping. Stephan would like to be remembered for his hard work and the love for his boys. He is survived by his sons, Steffen Petreaca and James Petreaca both of Independence; sisters, Lavinia Ionita of Salem and Gilia Minnich of Keizer; brother, Horatiu Petreaca of Loma Linda, Calif.; girlfriend, Mary Kosel of Willamina; father, Pavel Petreaca of Salem; and mother, Steliana Petreaca of Salem. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, May 6, at Restlawn Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 6, at Restlawn Funeral Home. Interment will take place the same day at Restlawn Memory Gardens
