Steven P Applegate

Steven Applegate was born to Cloise (Scotty) and Dorothy Applegate on September 26, 1946 in Hood River Oregon. He graduated from Hood River Valley High School, and attended Western Oregon State College, where he met and married Marsha Robertson. Steven’s career was with the State of Oregon Water Resources Department, working in Salem and Hermiston. He retired and started Steven P Applegate Consulting in the late 90’s. Steven is survived by his Mom Dorothy Applegate and Sister Cheryl Kirby, Daughters Jill Lounsbury (Chad) and Eryn Applegate, grandchildren McKensy Graetzer (Joseph), Claire Lounsbury, Leo, Sam, and Stella Munks, and great grandchildren Bryndle, Adelyn, and Gwendolyn Graetzer. Steven is preceded in death by his brothers Bruce and Brian Applegate, Father Scotty Applegate, and wife Marsha Applegate. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Wildlife foundation, or any foundation supporting the outdoors. Steven’s greatest joys were a love for nature and animals, camping, fishing, rafting, and golfing.
