Stuart was escorted to heaven Easter Sunday & reunited with his father John Ferguson. Stuart had numerous issues, but ended losing his battle against COPD. In September 2005 he retired from the Oregon Department of Transportation as a Farm Registration Specialist. He enjoyed traveling the Oregon roadways. Being a truly family man he leaves behind, wife Gayle and two daughters. Twyla Dawn (Zachery) Snow & Tammy Lynette (Anthony) Akers & two grandchildren, Devin Ferguson & Airyanna Greer. He loved them with all his heart. His deep love also extended to his mother, Evelyn Ferguson, sister, Gloria Goltiani & brother, Ronald (Kathryn Parks) Ferguson and many nieces & nephews.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at Restlawn Funeral Home, 201 Oak Grove Road NW Salem, Oregon. Inurnment will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions would be appreciated to the Silverton Elks Youth Fund, Hospice of the Northwest or the charity of your choice.
