Tammy Lynn Johnson went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on November 24th, 2021.
She was just 60 years old.
Tammy was born to George and Sara Valdez on July 7th, 1961, in Delta Colorado, the 3rd of 4 children
(brother’s George, Danny Ray, and sister Diana). She was the mother of 4 children herself, Sarra (Shane) Beach of Salem, OR, Jeffery (Lisa) of Salem, OR., Joshua (Charlene) of Georgetown, TX. and Matthew (Erica) of Keizer, OR whom she loved more than life itself.
She was also the grandmother to 15 grandchildren (Jory, Madison, Megan, Merissa (Anthony), Gracie, Jeffery, Justin, Abigail, Alexis, Joshua jr., Jacob, Alyssa, Natilee, Courtney and Charlotte) and 5 great grandchildren (Rose, Paislee, Vincent, Leo, and one baby on the way) who loved her deeply. She has left behind a very proud and loving legacy.
Tammy married her husband Clifford on July 8th of 1999. Clifford was a strong but gentle man who quickly adopted Tammy’s children as his own as they built a life together. They enjoyed 22 wonderful years of marriage and were side by side every day through thick and thin even up to death.
Family was always Tammy’s focus. There wasn’t anything that she wouldn’t do for her husband, siblings, children, grand and great grandchildren. She was always quick to put those she loved before herself, often sacrificing her time, money, and energy in the name of love and service. She also loved her dogs, who kept her company when her children had grown and moved on to make lives of their own
More importantly however, she loved the Lord Jesus Christ. A devoted Christian who would read her Bible and Pray every single day. She was a faithful servant of our Lord, always witnessing to the lost every chance she would get, even as she lay dying. Her testimony and passion for Christ is responsible for many victories in the kingdom of God. She cared for people, she loved life and she loved the Gospel.
She will be missed.
Thanks Mom, for everything.
