SALEM - Velma Jean was born in Larned, Kansas to George and Dora 'Barr' Campbell. Then moved to Salem in 1963. She worked for JC Penneys for 23 years and retired in 1986. She loved many and was well loved by her friends and family.
Velma is survived by her husband of 60 years, Grover Cecil Wimberly; sons, Dennis, Darrell, and Donald; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visiting, 8:30 - 10:30 a.m., Wed., March 10 at Restlawn Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment, 11:00 a.m., Wed., March 10 at Restlawn Memory Gardens
