Cannoy, Vivian Faye View/Sign Guest Book Donate Now Vivian Faye Cannoy December 11, 1938 - August 21, 2008 KEIZER - On August 21, 2008, after a 15-year-long battle with cancer, Vivian Faye Cannoy peacefully left this mortal world to be with the love of her life. Vivian was born December 11, 1938 in Seguin, Texas, the second child of George W. and Lorene McKee. She met a young Air Forceman, Rockie Cannoy, on a blind date in 1956. They were married on September 19, 1956 in Salem, Oregon, his hometown. They moved to Stayton in 1970, but returned to Keizer in 1987 where they remained. Vivian was the owner of Alamo Plastics, a plastics fabricating business that she operated for several years in Keizer. She was a member of New Harvest Church in Salem. She joins her husband, who passed away in 1999; as well as her younger brother, George; and sister, Barbara. Survivors include her children, Debra Coleman of Stayton, Carol Lundberg of Stayton, Kenneth Cannoy of Keizer, and Rex Cannoy of Salem; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Her mother, Lorene McKee; and brother, Floyd McKee, both of Seguin, also survive her. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 25 at Restlawn Memory Gardens in Salem. A memorial service at New Harvest Church is being planned for a later date. Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, Willamette Valley Hospice or New Harvest Fellowship.
