Wanda Lee Chapman Haworth
Wanda Haworth, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on Oct 9, 2023 at the age of 92 surrounded by her family. Wanda was born and raised in Dallas, Oregon. Wanda moved to Independence, Oregon where she raised four children.
Wanda worked for the State of Oregon for over 20 years and developed lifelong friendships. Upon retirement she fulfilled her lifelong dream of traveling the United States. Wanda became an avid traveler and took her Roadtrek RV camper throughout the United States visiting all her favorite spots. Wanda belonged to Single Sams RV and Roadtrek International clubs. She made fast friends with fellow campers throughout the country who she stayed in contact with.
Wanda is preceded in death by her former husband Wilfred Haworth and is survived by her four children and their spouses, Randol and Amelia Haworth from Houston, Texas; Janette and Charles Toll of Salem, Oregon; Lorraine and Russ Burns of Tigard, Oregon and Bryan and Michele Haworth of Auburn, Washington. Wanda is also survived by four grandchildren, Nathan and Benjamin Haworth, Jayce Burns and Iz Haworth and two great grandchildren, Elijah and Isabel Haworth.
No funeral services are planned. Wanda’s final resting place is in the mausoleum at Restlawn Memory Gardens.
