Living Memorial and Military Exhibit: "Through their Lense; Vietnam and Korea memories"

Living Memorial - May 25-27 Our Living Memorial will feature Vietnam and WW2 era vehicles, volunteers will be dressed in uniforms and camp onsite. You will be able to take a walk back in history and interact with this living memorial. Artwork and Uniform display: "Through their Lense" a large collection of Vietnam War and Korean War photos with 20 Uniforms (all Armed Forces, Vietnam and Korea era. The exhibition reproduction includes pictures and information about the history of the American soldier deployment during the Vietnam and Korean war. The Uniforms are provided by Salem VFW Post 661. The photo reproduction is a new exhibit made possible by the diligent archiving work of Lloyd Smith. The exhibit will be in our chapel from Saturday to Monday (open during daytime 9am to 4pm each day).

Memorial Day Ceremony
May 27, 2024
Restlawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home is hosting its annual Memorial Ceremony on Monday May 27th at 11am. Ceremony will be Live streamed. The ceremony will be honoring our Military Heroes and Remember our brave women and men that passed. The ceremony will include military honors, live bugler, and guest speaker. Please call us or register to add your loved one's name to the honor roll that will be read during the ceremony. During the weekend, Restlawn will have military vehicles on display, WW2 and Vietnam Living Memorial. Also the special uniforms and artwork exhibit will be open in our chapel, this year theme will be "Through their Lense" a collections of Vietnam War and Korean War photos, with 20 Uniforms (all Armed Forces, Vietnam and Korea era). Hotdogs, drinks and cookies will be provided. If you need multiple locations for graves, please call us in advance and we will have a map ready for you.
